They provide comprehensive ICT and logistics services to the company's affiliates within the country. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in 3PL sales, business development, contract logistics, and freight forwarding. The position is based in BGC, Taguig City, with an onsite working arrangement from Monday to Friday.
Job Summary:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new contract logistics revenue by sourcing targeted customers in need of warehousing and distribution services.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the BD/Sales team to support integrated solution sales comprising Contract Logistics elements.
- Generate sales leads and formulate business solutions to meet customer requirements, converting prospects into new business wins.
- Work closely with the field sales and business development teams to maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
- Compile proposals, quotations, and presentations for new business inquiries, ensuring timely responses to RFI and RFQ.
- Partner with operations to develop specialized knowledge for pricing and RFQ preparation.
- Coordinate with internal parties for new customer implementations, including project planning, solution design, warehouse setup, SOP creation, cost analysis, and contracting to ensure smooth project execution.
- Achieve and exceed sales and profit targets assigned by management.
- Liaise with vendors to ensure operational performance meets the company's and customers' requirements.
- Prepare and conduct customer visits, calls, presentations, and commercial and contractual discussions as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term partnerships and loyalty.
Key job requirements:
- BS/MA degree in Supply Chain Management or related fields.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in 3PL sales, business development, contract logistics, and freight forwarding.
- A history of promotions within renowned global companies (e.g., DHL, K+N, DVS Panalpina, DBS Schenker, CEVA, UPS, Expeditors, Flexport) is preferred.
