Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of a global brand in the motorcycle accessories & parts industry. The role will be key in starting up the operations for the PH market including expanding its market reach and dealers. This role will be directly reporting to the Sales Director for Indonesia & Philippines with an office based either in BGC Taguig/Makati City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the branch, setting and achieving ambitious sales targets.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team, including a salesperson, sales admin, and finance personnel.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and development opportunities, and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficient and compliant workflow across all departments.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and monitor branch finances, including budgets, costs, and inventory levels.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to the Director and other stakeholders.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Prepare regular reports on branch performance, sales activity, and other key metrics.
  • Control stock levels and sales forecast and propose new orders to Sales Admin.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any sales related
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales leadership role within a distribution or sales environment fromthe motorcycle or related industry is an advantage
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (excel specially).
  • Willing to do field-works and travel
