Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational construction material company with a strong global presence. Our client is seeking a talented Commercial Analyst to join their Thailand operations.
The Commercial Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Thailand commercial team by providing data-driven insights and analysis. This position will involve leading and supporting various initiatives, conducting in-depth analysis, and fostering collaboration across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and support initiatives on various topics, including commercial strategy, operational optimization, product design, and portfolio optimization.
- Develop approach and implementation plans, engage resources across the organization, coordinate work between internal and external stakeholders, monitor execution, and identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Perform various project-related and ad-hoc analyses, such as market mapping, competitive analysis, pricing benchmarking, sales performance, marginality analysis, and business cases for investments.
- Source and organize information from systems, people, internal, and external data sources. Analyze, summarize insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with the Business Development Director, CEO, CFO, and local leaders on strategic topics.
- Proactively engage and interface with various people in the organization at all levels and functions, mobilize cross-functional work without direct authority, plan and arrange workshops and reviews, and tailor communications to different audiences.
- Gain firsthand experience of company operations through field observations and interviews, including customers, suppliers, sales representatives, and operations. Travel may be involved.
- Create content for presentations, reviews, and communication within and outside the organization. Bring structure and clarity to written communication tailored to the audience.
Job Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data sets. Experience in finance or operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python). Skills in data engineering and BI tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau) are beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluency in Thai and English is essential.
- Experience in a multinational company or living and working abroad is a plus.
