Our respected client is seeking an executive which is open for fresh Grad - CPA passer and with at least 1-5 years' experience in accounting facets. The job is based in Davao Del Sur , Philippines.
Job summary:
- As a Cost Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial reporting and cost management processes. This is a full-time position that will offer you the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and success of our organization.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Preparing and analysing detailed cost reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance
- Monitoring and controlling manufacturing costs, including materials, labour, and overhead expenses
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and budget management
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Providing support and guidance to the finance team on cost accounting best practices
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a cost accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing or agricultural industry is a plus
- Proficient in the use of cost accounting software and tools, such as ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
- Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles, methods, and reporting standards
