Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection, preprocessing, and analysis of data from various sources.
- Compile and label datasets for machine learning projects.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and generate actionable insights.
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms. - Create data visualizations to effectively communicate findings.
- Collaborate with other data scientists and cross-functional teams on data-driven projects.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy).
- Basic understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., MongoDB, SQL).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud, AWS).
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Plotly, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Looker Studio).
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
- Experience with geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial data processing and analysis.
- Internship or project experience in data science or related fields
