Executive firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a national music company. Our client is seeking a Finance Admin Manager who is a Certified Public Accountant. This is a full on-site work setup based in Quezon City, Philippines.

Job Summary: The Finance & Admin Manager will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating and administering the financial records, systems and processes of the company. The candidate is expected to guide and manage direct reports and to be able provide management with accurate and timely information on the financial status and performance of the operations so that management can make informed decisions.

The job ensures financial accountability and compliance with policies and statutory requirements. The job also provides oversight on administration functions of the company. The candidate reports directly to the General Manager. The candidate must be flexible to meet the demands of our growing organization.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Accounts Payable function: the timely registering, processing, paying, reconciling and forecasting of payments.
  • Ensure that invoicing and collection schedules are adhered to and vendor terms are maximized to support operational requirements.
  • Manage the bank account and provide cash flow forecasting. Post, reconcile and analyse the monthly management accounts. Presenting to the General Manager timely profit and loss updates and explanation of variances to budget.
  • Processing employee payroll, expenses, foreign currency cash payments, petty cash requests approved in line with PRM policies.
  • Overall in-charge in the preparation of Audited Financial Statements (AFS) and ensure that all requirement of external auditors are provided within deadlines.
  • Overall in-charge on handling various kinds of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Audit and preparing of correspondences to support findings.
  • Preparing financial calculations and framework for distribution of royalties to producer and performer members annually.
  • Preparing the annual budget.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax reporting and Government deadlines and processes.
  • Ensure timely submission of all government requirements (e.g., SEC, BIR, LGU).
  • Manage office costs such as insurances, utilities, capex, property/ rates/ service charges and facilities including working on new supplier contracts and implementing cost saving measures.

Key Job Requirements:

  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Experience with BIR, SEC regulatory and taxation compliance filings.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Advanced Excel and financial management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with experience in presenting financial information to senior management.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Tagalog.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
