Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming and efficient experience for all visitors, providing excellent customer service and handling administrative tasks with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring all details are accurate.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and other requests.
  • Provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions.

Reservations and Room Assignments:

  • Manage room reservations and ensure optimal room allocation.
  • Update and maintain accurate guest records and reservation information.
  • Handle changes to reservations, cancellations, and special requests.

Customer Service:

  • Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled.

Administrative Duties:

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Manage front desk supplies and ensure the area is neat and organized.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and adhere to data protection policies.

Security and Safety:

  • Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow safety procedures and emergency protocols as required.
  • Ensure that guest keys are properly handled and secured.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and provide support as needed.
  • Participate in front desk meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Associate or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
