General Manager - Renewable Energy (Jakarta)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading National Engineering Consultancies company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15 years' experience in Renewable Energy for the job of General Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Organize company operational culture to ensure high-performance standards from all employees, which includes upholding teamwork, effective communication, consistent positive results, and continuous improvement. - Implement business acumen in managing company operations with the corporate operations functions (HR, Finance, Legal, HSE, Marketing & Sales).
- Lead Engineering & Consulting Team (Electrical, Power System,Renewable Energy, Financial Analysis, Project Management Office).
- Technical, Contractual, and Business engagements with Clients and other external parties.
- Participating in long-term Research and Development Strategy with Founders and Executives.

- Develop the EPC Business Unit with operational and development metrics to achieve longer term objectives in revenue and operational excellence (in project deliveries and executions)
- Build seamless coordinative way of working, to ensure internal synergies between Sales, Engineering, Project Management, QHSE, and Change Management functions.
- Build an excellent standard for QHSE, especially on Site Safety Management and Risk Management and Mitigation. In case of emergencies and incidents, must manage and maintain team's composure, communication, and coordination, in order to obtain focus in problem solving and the team's spirit.
- Lead the EPC Business Unit to achieve effectivess/ productivities and efficiency by structuring operational processes and on-the-field control.
- Ensure effective and efficient manpower planning including personnel assignment and recruitment.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial / Physics / Renewable Energy Engineering).
- Minimum 2 Years as General Manager (or equivalent) and 5 Years in the Managerial Position.
- Implemented Business Financial Acumen.
- Background in Consulting, specific expertise in the Renewable Energy business as a Consultant.
- Network in Renewable Energy business in Indonesia (PLN, ESDM, Renewable Power Plant Developers).
- Managing consulting projects for power plant developers
- Delivered renewable energy consulting project of either: Feasibility Study / Roadmap design, Project management / Owner engineer consulting, Engineering and Auction Design
