Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a growing quick commerce company for the role of Head of Expansion at least 8 years experience in the field.
Job Responsibility:
- Identifying and capturing strategic partnerships into the suitability of potential sites and making recommendations to the management.
- Prioritization, presenting to high-level management, and building working relations with mid-management, business model planning, negotiation, and driving deals to closure and managing relationships once deals are in place.
- Responsible for setting up project teams and project budgets with a clear set of steering OKRs.
- Develop a business development plan and strategy and lead cross-functional execution against defined business milestones and metrics.
- Creating standardization of each facility and equipment to make sure that we can achieve the right balance between cost & impact.
- Build and maintain close relationships with landlords for new site openings, and rent re-negotiations.
- Manage and support all phases of the expansion process including market planning, site selection and approval, real estate contracts, permitting, construction, and turnover/grand opening on projects from inception.
- Maintain and monitor all facility and operational equipment costs.
- Continuously looking for improvements for all facility and operational equipment.
- Responsible for overall team management, including hiring, goal setting and delegation of work, training and development, coaching/mentoring, and completing performance evaluations that are supported by collaboration with stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, and Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the Expansion field from a logistics, E-commerce background.
- Excellent business acumen and possesses in-depth understanding of market trends.
- Good knowledge or proven track record in expansion strategy & execution, portfolio management, construction & facilities.
- Thrives in a fast paced and dynamic retail expansion environment and the ability to meet agreed deadlines.
- Desire and ability to do high powered strategic work, but also to get your hands in the dirt and get stuff done.
- Demonstrated ability to think analytical, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
