We are seeking a Head of Finance to establish the fundamental financial strategic plan for the company's foundation. This position will involve hybrid working conditions and includes the following responsibilities and qualifications:
Job Description:
- Oversee and review entity reporting to ensure compliance with Group Accounting Policies
- Conduct balance sheet reviews and perform analytical evaluations, including commentaries on significant changes for management and FP&A review.
- Examine the P&L and Balance Sheet of subsidiaries to ensure their Financial Statements adhere to Group Accounting Policy and PSAK. Identify and highlight any major movements.
- Provide insights on the accounting impact/treatment for current practices, new marketing strategies, and business ventures.
- Assess and determine the accounting implications of any group restructuring activities.
- Generate the required management accounts for local and HQ reporting.
- Offer guidance on accounting and consolidation matters to affiliate entities.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, including balance sheet reconciliation
- Ensure timely submission of required reports and payment of taxes and dues.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities/agents.
- Strengthen internal control and processes within the local office.
- Develop sound and risk-free SOPs and policies.
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with regulations.
- Oversee the operations of the finance department and manage a local team of finance professionals.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 10+ years of experience within the Fintech Industry.
- A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficient in using accounting software such as SAP and Oracle.
- Solid understanding of government financial regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience in financial, accounting, and project management systems, policies, and procedures.
