Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of Indonesia's leading fintech company. We are seeking a Head of Finance to establish the fundamental financial strategic plan for the company's foundation. This position will involve hybrid working conditions and includes the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Job Description:

  • Oversee and review entity reporting to ensure compliance with Group Accounting Policies
  • Conduct balance sheet reviews and perform analytical evaluations, including commentaries on significant changes for management and FP&A review.
  • Examine the P&L and Balance Sheet of subsidiaries to ensure their Financial Statements adhere to Group Accounting Policy and PSAK. Identify and highlight any major movements.
  • Provide insights on the accounting impact/treatment for current practices, new marketing strategies, and business ventures.
  • Assess and determine the accounting implications of any group restructuring activities.
  • Generate the required management accounts for local and HQ reporting.
  • Offer guidance on accounting and consolidation matters to affiliate entities.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, including balance sheet reconciliation
  • Ensure timely submission of required reports and payment of taxes and dues.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities/agents.
  • Strengthen internal control and processes within the local office.
  • Develop sound and risk-free SOPs and policies.
  • Ensure all accounting activities comply with regulations.
  • Oversee the operations of the finance department and manage a local team of finance professionals.

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 10+ years of experience within the Fintech Industry.
  • A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficient in using accounting software such as SAP and Oracle.
  • Solid understanding of government financial regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience in financial, accounting, and project management systems, policies, and procedures.
