Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of one of biggest telecommunication companies in Indonesia. Our respected client is seeking a Head of Information Technology to spearhead IT Operations, IT Infrastructure, overall IT Development, and Cybersecurity. The job is based in Jakarta.

Job Description:

  • Shape and execute IT and cybersecurity strategies in line with the company's objectives.
  • Guide and support the IT team, fostering skill development and high performance.
  • Supervise the development, execution, and upkeep of the organization's cybersecurity structure.
  • Perform regular security evaluations, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis to preemptively address threats.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001).
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
  • Develop and manage incident response plans, handling cybersecurity incidents and breaches effectively.
  • Oversee the operation of security tools, systems, and protocols to safeguard data and IT resources.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure the consistent performance, reliability, and security of IT systems and services.
  • Drive the implementation and management of cloud-based solutions for security, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Oversee IT Helpdesk functions to ensure efficient and responsive end-user support.
  • Implement Helpdesk policies, procedures, and tracking systems, while monitoring and enhancing performance metrics.
  • Oversee the setup, maintenance, and improvement of enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM).
  • Ensure smooth integration and functionality of IT systems to support business operations.
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation, optimizing cost-efficiency and budget adherence.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a similar field; Master's degree or equivalent certifications is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT management, emphasizing cybersecurity, cloud services, Helpdesk operations, and enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and implementing IT and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and project management experience in IT.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity practices, technologies, and standards.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure management (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Skilled in network security, risk management, and incident handling.
  • Knowledgeable in regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor.
