Job Description:
- Advocate for the product vision, requirements, and roadmap by leveraging a deep understanding of engineering, design, and business priorities.
- Guide the organization's shift to agile methodologies, ensuring consistent and effective application of agile principles, methodologies, and tools across all teams.
- Serve as the key leadership figure for engineering and product design teams, ensuring alignment of design decisions with the product vision and business goals.
- Build strong relationships across the organization, acting as the primary connection between engineering, product design, and business teams.
- Promote the standardization of product development and programming language usage across all products and features.
- Ensure ongoing improvement in agility by regularly assessing and implementing best practices.
- Work with business partners, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify technical and functional system requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure integrated designs and deliverables that meet user needs.
- Foster an innovative environment that encourages the use of cutting-edge technology, creative solutions, teamwork, and continuous skill and knowledge development.
- Lead sprint reviews and retrospectives, promoting a culture of regular feedback and iterative development.
- Oversee multiple cross-functional teams through the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions, using established agile frameworks.
- Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for both new and existing products/features, ensuring system robustness and scalability.
- Advocate for DevOps practices, focusing on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, while maintaining high standards of security and performance.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members, encouraging their growth in both technical and soft skills.
- Stay informed about customer feedback and market changes, ensuring the product evolves to meet the changing landscape.
- Emphasize a security-first mindset within all teams, educating them on secure coding practices and relevant tools.
- Communicate transparently and effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment at every stage of the product development process.
- Utilize strong business acumen and analytical skills to shape and guide the strategic objectives of the product and tech teams.
- Engage in strategic discussions with both product and non-product stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment in objectives and strategies.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in digital industries such as FinTech, E-Commerce, WebApps, and Mobile Apps, including 5-7 years in a senior product management position.
- Proven ability to develop, maintain, and drive product vision and roadmaps that align with company goals.
- Extensive experience in managing and overseeing the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept to phase-out.
- Significant experience in creating and leading highly scalable distributed systems, whether on-premise or on cloud platforms, particularly Google.
- Thorough knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, with a successful track record of embedding agility in organizational processes and culture.
- In-depth understanding of and ability to train teams in DevSecOps practices, including secure coding, SAST, DAST, OWASP, and SANS.
- Demonstrated experience in managing, mentoring, and developing multiple product teams across product ownership, design, planning, engineering, and operations.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of promoting agile thinking and actions, ensuring agile principles are practiced and embodied by all teams.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and strategies.
- Proven ability to coach teams on a wide range of skills, from soft skills like communication and collaboration to hard skills like business, product management, finance, and software engineering.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and analytics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication and building strong relationships with non-product and non-technology stakeholders.
