Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting for the personal care company. Our respected client is seeking a Head of Sales. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and expand modern trade connections, with expertise in initiating negotiations, securing trading terms, and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and manage a robust distributor network to ensure nationwide market penetration, including effective coverage of mom-and-pop stores.
  • Design, execute, and monitor strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives to achieve sustainable growth in a highly competitive market.
  • Lead and inspire the sales team, providing coaching and mentorship to drive peak performance and develop high-performing individuals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between sales and promotional strategies.
  • Oversee and optimize sales operations, including inventory management, demand forecasting, and timely delivery of products to clients.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients to secure repeat business and enhance customer loyalty.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior sales role, preferably within the FMCG, cosmetics, or skincare industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and visionary capabilities with the ability to lead diverse teams.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and a deep understanding of modern trade and traditional trade dynamics in Indonesia.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in sales analytics tools and CRM software to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
