Monroe Consulting, an executive recruitment firm, is currently recruiting for a local securities and investment services provider. They have provided a full range of investments & consulting services over multiple financial products to include equity, fixed income, derivatives, structure notes and more through both retail and institutional clients.
You will be responsible for overseeing an end-to-end process of the securities operation department by engaging with account opening, custody, foreign and local settlement, credit control, equity transactions, customer relationship management and other back-office area. You are required to have strong experience of team management and stakeholder management as you will be a point of contact between operation team and top management team.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare supplementary documents to the application for a license in undertaking digital asset business of operations department (account opening, settlement (conversion Thai baht), asset safekeeping and call center)
- To set up the back-office system i.e. settlement, asset safekeeping, customer service, and online account opening
- Work collaboratively across functional teams within compliance to ensure effective and efficient operations with clearly defined roles and responsibilities in connection with the AMLO regulations and The Securities and Exchange Commission.
- Contact and coordinate with banks for financial transactions and NDID for proofing identity.
- Help define, document, implement and maintain an efficient and effective scalable operational framework.
- Review data management system-generated reports and ensure that the business objectives are met.
- To supervise the Operations Department, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services to internal and external clients and meeting objectives set by the Group using available resources allocated while maintaining operational risk to the accepted level
Job Requirements
- Multiple years' experience in financial services industry preferably in securities business.
- Multiple years' experience managing a team.
- Fluent in Thai and English (spoken and written)
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good communication and can work as a team.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and a tight timeline.
