Executive Recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is currently working with a leading international trading asset company and theyre looking for a dynamic IT specialist to join their team.
As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Level 2 and 3 of IT infrastructure and operations, both on-premise and cloud-based, as well as business continuity controls.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to address cybersecurity risks, ensure business continuity, improve resilience, and drive the company's business goals.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Helpdesk & IT Service Management:
    • Provide first-level support for IT issues across three shifts.
    • Assist with account access, VPN, network connectivity, and endpoint troubleshooting.
    • Ensure proper documentation and handover of issues between shifts.
    • Monitor IT service level trends and maintain the IT Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
    • Support IT change management and manage after-office emergency changes.
  • Incident & Problem Management:
    • Follow up on incidents and resolve issues timely.
    • Support production and security incident management.
    • Ensure timely escalation of security incidents.
  • Business Continuity & IT Disaster Recovery (DR):
    • Support the company's Business Continuity and IT DR program.
    • Assist in conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and document IT system DR requirements.
    • Help with IT DR testing and maintain system backup inventories.
  • IT Operations Support:
    • Assist with IT security training and awareness.
    • Support risk reporting, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
    • Maintain outsourcing registers and vendor due diligence processes.


Job Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Helpdesk, IT Service Management, IT Disaster Recovery, or IT operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with DevOps, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and core IT infrastructure is a plus.
  • Certifications (ITIL, COBIT, TOGAF, CBCP) are advantageous.
