Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of on-growing F&B manufacturing. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 6 year's experience in upstream manufacturing process for the job of Manufacturing Manager (Upstream). The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily operations of the food manufacturing facility to ensure production goals are met.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust plans as necessary to meet changes in demand or production challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food quality regulations at all times.
  • Manage and train production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and safety.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to implement quality control measures and address any product issues.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and inventory management to ensure optimal levels of raw materials.
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
    Prepare and manage budgets related to operational costs, labor, and materials.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [6+] years of experience in food manufacturing or production management.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices (e.g., FDA, HACCP, GMP).
  • Proven experience in managing teams and leading operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
