Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a global technology company. Through our smart hardware & services, we're partnering with network operators to maximize the potential of 5G. Our respected client is seeking a Payroll Administrator to be based in Makati. This role will be directly reporting with the HR Manager/CFO.


Job Objective:

  • The Payroll Administrator will manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, deductions, and government-mandated contributions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of handling payroll compliance, tax filings, and responding to employee payroll inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Ensure payroll-related payments, including government contributions and other deductions, are processed and disbursed on time.
  • Generate payroll reports and provide payslips to employees.

Government Compliance and Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit monthly government filings, such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and tax payments.
  • Stay updated on Philippine tax laws and payroll regulations to ensure compliance and avoid penalties.
  • Manage timely payment of all contributions and taxes, coordinating with government agencies as needed.

Employee Payroll Inquiries:

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits, ensuring accurate information is provided.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, escalating issues to the Finance Manager if necessary.

Record-Keeping and Documentation:

  • Maintain payroll records in an organized and confidential manner, ensuring documentation is available for audits or reporting.
  • Assist in audit preparations by providing necessary payroll documentation and explanations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in payroll administration, ideally in the Philippines.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and HR systems, as well as Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine payroll regulations, tax requirements, and statutory contributions.
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
