Job summary
The incumbent is responsible for achieving the sales budget and debt collection for Special Products and Chemical. He/She has to maintain key customers and secure strategic new accounts with supply contracts. He/She must solve customer disputes in order to achieve collection target and feedback customer needs to CEC (Customer Engagement Centre), distribution department and product managers. He/She will also provide basic product training to customers.
Job Requirements:
- Sourcing for new business through market research, government agencies, and business development reports.
- identify new sales channels
- To achieve the plan sales and collection targets to ensure that no key accounts are lost.
- Maintain and grow existing customers
- Ensure no key customers are lost
- Gain new strategic customers
- Continuously monitor key account performance
- Timely collection from customers
- Resolve quickly customer disputes directly or get assistance from customer service department
- Conduct/Coordinate training to customers
- Provide information on product capabilities and functionalities
Key interfaces
- The incumbent reports to Sales Manager. The incumbent has the Account Executive as peers.
- He/She is required to develop new business, increase existing business and provide customer service and product/process awareness.
- The incumbent's major challenge is to handle sales of key account which have high returns thus achieving the required sales targets, develop new products and/or enhance existing ones to make it profitable. The incumbent would be required to interact well with customers to accomplish the sale.
- His/Her network should be varied and must leverage on the network. information.

Required qualifications/experience
- Degree in sales/marketing or other discipline and at least one year experience in industrial sales in the company and industry.
- Other skills include experience in dealing with difference customers, negotiation and ability to motivate and lead staff.
