Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf on one of the world's renounced Academic Research Institute that provides learning and Education to people. Our respective client is looking for a Regional Manager who will manage a nimble and responsive team in one of their largest source markets. Owning the business development plan marketing and education activities across the Philippines to achieve revenue growth and other targets for CBLA. Leading and inspiring a team to achieve year on year growth and adapt to a changing commercial landscape as OET build a diversified range of revenue streams via B2C, B2B and B2G relationships. This job is based in Makati and currently WFH setup until further notice, moving forward it will be hybrid setup (2 days RTO, 3 days WFH per week).
Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership
- Ability to remotely manage a geographically dispersed team and work independently as part of the wider Commercial team within the organisation
- Providing strong direction and leadership to the sales team to maximise effectiveness, capability, and engagement.
- Provides leadership and direction in developing and implementing regional business development plans including marketing campaigns, communication to ensure brand awareness and customer growth. Strategy & Business Planning
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategy and tactics that deliver ensure financial growth, diversity of services and commitment to organisational purpose.
- Ensure the planning and provision of effective professional programs relevant to the range of markets, in accordance with OET requirements, service agreements with contractual obligations.
- Developing an innovative, growth focused business strategy for OET in the Philippines
- Documenting detailed sales, marketing, recognition, test venue recruitment plans for the region including key account management.
- Delivering on revenue growth targets within agreed budgets and being accountable for revenue in the Philippines
- Understand the market segmentation of OET stakeholders in each region, including candidates, preparation provider partners, recruiters, and regulators in order to deliver solutions to meet customer needs.
- Implement, monitor and review annual regional/portfolio budgets.
Business Development
- Driving the Philippines team business strategy to grow demand for OET in new market sectors across health and education settings.
- Overseeing and supporting Test venue services with existing and new OET test venues
- Promote OET Brand at events, roadshows and conferences
- Proactively schedule candidates and stakeholder events to increase awareness and revenue for OET
- Work collaboratively with Cambridge Assessment Global Network colleagues in the Philippines region as required to achieve OET sales targets
Stakeholder Management
- Accountable for the development of relationships with key stakeholders in the Philippines including government, Boards and Councils, regulators, higher education institutions, OET test venues and for ensuring OET gains maximum recognition in the region
- Accountable for the existing relationships with the Philippine Nurses Association, Carl Balita Review Centres, and the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines.
- Develop and implement a responsive stakeholder engagement strategy at a national level
- Develop and maintain specialist knowledge about the healthcare and education markets and the role of English language assessment in the wider, dynamic healthcare context, including extensive market research activities.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Qualifications
- Tertiary degree in Teaching, Business, Marketing, Management or equivalent. Preference will be given to those with a double qualification of Teaching and a Business discipline. Skills and Experience
- Minimum 10 years + solid leadership and emotional intelligence skills, with demonstrated ability to engage others, influence organisational culture, and provide strong direction of BDM's
- Minimum 10 years + experience with a strong track record of B2B, B2C & B2G sales within the Philippines region within the Education, English Language Assessment or and Healthcare sectors
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, including an ability to prepare high level reports to Executives and external parties.
- Ability to travel across the Region on a regular basis of up to 35%
- Demonstrated market research and product development experience
- High level knowledge of the Philippines education market
- Intermediate IT Skills, including Salesforce, Microsoft Office
