Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, an executive recruitment firm, is a global leader in the manufacturing of electronic components. They are currently seeking for a Lead Professional for SEM Export Operations. The ideal candidate should possess a solid track record of 5 to 10 years in export operations or a comparable role, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Proficiency in overseeing all facets of export procedures within the organization is essential. The company's base will be situated in Calamba, Laguna.

Job Summary:

  • In the role of SEM Export Operations Lead Professional, your responsibilities will entail supervising and directing every facet of our company's export processes. Your key objective will revolve around ensuring smooth and regulatory-compliant operations, facilitating prompt and secure shipment of goods to global destinations. Your pivotal duties will include liaising with different departments, overseeing logistics personnel, and engaging with external partners to achieve export targets efficiently.


Key job responsibilities include:

  • Supervise the daily monitoring and updating of export shipments.
  • Coordinate and update Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) regarding shipment schedules.
  • Verify the completeness of data input in CELLO and GERP systems.
  • Ensure timely acquisition and follow-up of Proof of Delivery (POD) reports/documents from service providers.
  • Resolve issues related to delivery, receiving, customs, and transit.
  • Prepare required reports for clients and the company related to the exportation process.
  • Collaborate with counterparts to develop routes and reduce logistics costs.
  • Assist in establishing rates not included in global bidding.
  • Provide support in processing export bookings and documentation as needed.
  • Manage and report all irregularities promptly.
  • Develop and implement new procedures to enhance export operations.
  • Monitor cargo movements and ensure timely arrival at destination ports.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results.
  • Prepare monthly volume reports for exports.
  • Develop monthly export flight plans.
  • Overall supervision and control of export operations.

Key job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience of 5 to 10 years in export operations or a similar role, including at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Extensive familiarity with and comprehension of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and the requisite documentation for exporting goods across diverse countries.
  • Proven track record in managing all stages of the export process, encompassing procurement, logistics, compliance, and customer service.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are indispensable for engaging with diverse internal teams and external stakeholders, including vendors, customers, and regulatory authorities.
