Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting a Field Service Engineer- VisMin for a multination medical device company specializing in optical systems and instruments. The role will be covering Visayas and Mindanao territories and will be responsible for providing technical support and services in the field. Candidate can be based in either Cebu or Davao City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of company equipment in the field (customers, clients, etc)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to equipment
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance and calibration based on schedules
- Provide training and technical support to customers on the use of equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and related expenses
- Collaborate with other members of the service team to resolve complex technical issues
- Work closely with sales & marketing teams to identify new opportunities for service and support
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current on new technologies and equipment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in servicing and maintaining high-tech scientific or medical equipment (must be from healthcare/medical device industry)
- Strong technical skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues; must have basic knowledge/inclination to IT systems/software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to travel within VisMin territories (wherever needed)
