What you will do
- Monthly/ Weekly/Daily purchasing of parts
- Daily follow up on orders and delivery dates
- Maintaining setup of PO Date
- Define safety stocks level and focus on level of stock
- Expediting parts
- Negotiate with vendors to ensure required delivery dates are met, resolve escalated issues within execution horizon, eg. expedite/ de-expedite not agreed by suppliers
- Provide visibility into material constraints, changes to the supplier delivery dates and any bottlenecks (operational) to other Planners
- Conduct regular demand reviews with suppliers to help identify any potential supply issues in the future
- Responsible for material/component inventory and execution.
- Collaborate with global Controlling to optimize material inventory and support achievement of working capital target
- Supply Planning projects for improvement
What you bring
Experience
- Bachelor degree in related area
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setup
- Related experience in Supply Chain, preferably with experience in materials/supply planning, sourcing / purchasing and supplier management
- Knowledge of supply management / collaboration, inventory management and procurement
- Advanced knowledge of, and experience with sourcing and supplier management activities for raw material and components in mechanics / electronics
- Knowledge of, and experience with supply planning and supplier collaboration tools.
