Monroe Consulting Group is collaborating with a prominent regulatory body in the financial services sector, in search for a tech talent. Our client is looking for a Technology Architect (Azure Infrastructure Lead). This role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of secure, scalable, and efficient cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Design and deploy secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure. Manage resources for optimal performance and cost, ensure compliance with policies, and administer identity and access through Microsoft Entra ID with SSO and MFA.
  • Cloud Strategy and Services: Develop and review cloud strategies, including policies and roadmaps. Manage PaaS services like App Services, Functions, and SQL Database, and configure IaaS solutions (VMs, networks, storage) with backup and disaster recovery setups.
  • Automation and CI/CD: Automate cloud management using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates, and integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration, and provide training on Azure best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Project Management: Lead the architectural design and implementation of projects, ensuring system availability, security, and performance. Oversee system management across development, test, and production environments.
  • Disaster Recovery: Lead disaster recovery (DR) efforts, designing and maintaining solutions for communication and collaboration systems, monitoring systems to meet RTO and RPO requirements, and managing security for IT DR infrastructure.
  • System Administration: Manage system configurations, availability, and capacity. Oversee change and release management, implement continuity management processes, and maintain comprehensive system documentation.

Education / Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Microsoft Azure Certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate)
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing Azure infrastructure and services.
  • Extensive experience with identity and access management, particularly using Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.

Professional Competencies

  • Proficiency in Azure services and architecture.
  • Deep understanding of identity and access management, including SSO and MFA.
  • Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
