Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the Rigging and Lifting industry. As the business continues to grow, our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist/Manager with a strong background in the rigging and lifting solutions sector. This position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in business development roles, preferably in the rigging, lifting, or heavy industry sector.
  • Proven ability to develop and expand client relationships in industrial sectors such as mining, manufacturing, construction, or oil and gas.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build strategic partnerships.
  • Target-driven, with a track record of achieving sales and business development goals.
  • Experience in negotiating large contracts and closing complex deals.
  • Result-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is essential.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel for business meetings and client visits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the rigging and lifting solutions industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver high-level presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals with a focus on profitability.
  • Work closely with management to align business development activities with company goals.
