Our esteemed client is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive business development, maintain client relationships, and achieve sales targets for products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects, researching the industry, and analyzing sales options.
- Provide technical and engineering information on products, services, and equipment by addressing client inquiries.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships by offering guidance, support, and recommendations for solutions that enhance profitability, reduce costs, and improve operations.
- Develop and penetrate competitor accounts to expand market reach.
- Meet and exceed sales targets within the designated area.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors to identify potential product improvements or new opportunities.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing market and sales data.
- Provide accurate monthly sales projections and forecasts.
- Ensure high-quality service by adhering to organizational standards.
- Continuously improve professional and technical knowledge through training, industry events, and networking.
- Conduct sales presentations and offer value-added solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Oversee the full sales cycle, from initial contact to quotation, purchase order, contract negotiation, payment terms, delivery, installation coordination, and final acceptance certification (FAC).
- Collaborate with the Service Department to resolve machine failures or service issues during the warranty period.
- Manage and follow up on sales collections, supported by the Administration team.
- Contribute to overall team success by achieving related business objectives.
- Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the company.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial sales and services; prior experience in heavy industrial sales is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, prospecting, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
