The executive recruitment consultant at Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a Multinational Beverage Company. Our respected client is seeking for a Channel Development Manager (Off-Premise & E-Commerce). The Off-Trade Manager is responsible for overseeing sales and marketing activities in off-premise locations such as retail stores, supermarkets, and liquor shops. This role also includes formalizing the E-Commerce Strategy and ensuring brand placement across available platforms in the country. The focus is on increasing product availability, optimizing shelf space, enhancing visibility, and executing promotional campaigns to drive category expansion and market share growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales volume (Off Take) and market share in off-trade channels through effective placement, visibility, and activation strategies.
  • Collaborate with distributors and retailers to ensure timely product delivery and availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock rotation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and store managers.
  • Negotiate shelf space, promotional displays, and pricing agreements; finalize Joint Business Plans (JBP), Terms of Trade (ToT), and Planogram Agreements.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement and compliance.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive consumer engagement and boost sales.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to create impactful POS materials and displays.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
  • Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Identify growth opportunities and recommend product assortment adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations related to alcohol sales and advertising.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market share, and promotional activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Modern Off-Trade (MoFT), E-Commerce, and Modern Channel Distribution.
  • Experience in the beverage industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with past experience in JBP Closure.
  • Familiarity with Indonesia's retail landscape and liquor laws (Basic Level).
