Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Pay-per-click (PPC) Analyst and Campaign Manager to join their dynamic team. They operate at a fast pace, managing substantial campaigns with 7-figure monthly budgets. The ideal candidate will thrive on data analysis, creativity, strategic thinking, and driving profitability. The right person will possess a deep analytical mindset, coupled with creativity, technical expertise, and business acumen to make a significant impact. The job offers a Remote working arrangement with a Monday to Friday flexitime schedule.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimise PPC campaigns, predominantly focused on Google Ads, working with large monthly budgets (7 figures).
  • Develop and maintain advanced reporting templates using Excel or other data analysis tools. You must have strong data visualisation skills, with an ability to present insights clearly through charts and reports.
  • Conduct deep analysis to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. This isn't about just scratching the surface - you need to be comfortable drilling into the details.
  • Test new ad creatives and continuously explore innovative approaches to ad copy, beyond relying on what's worked before.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, as well as the latest software and tools, and push us to provide the necessary resources to support growth and optimisation.
  • Perform thorough, perpetual competitor research, monitoring competitor PPC ad strategies, messaging, and user journeys to ensure we stay ahead of market trends and continuously refine our approach to be best in class.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure our user experience (UX) is always ahead of the competition, incorporating insights from competitor research and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider team to understand every aspect of the business, with a keen interest in financial services and the larger industry landscape.

Skills and Experience

  • Exceptional skills in Excel or similar advanced data analysis tools.
  • Must have strong experience with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and creating detailed reports and visualisations.
  • Experience in automating reporting processes is also essential.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to dive deep into data and uncover actionable insights.
  • Experience with ad testing, creative ad copy development, and optimising beyond traditional methods.
  • Familiarity with PPC tools like Adalysis and others that support advanced campaign management and optimisation.
  • Strong knowledge of automation systems, including Google Ads scripts, with a focus on automating reporting, bid management, and performance optimisation.
  • A degree in Maths, Data Science, or a similar analytical field is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for digital marketing and a desire to explore innovative strategies.
  • Keen interest in psychology and how it applies to advertising and consumer behaviour.
  • Financial services experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale budgets, particularly with Google Ads.
