Job Description
- Financial Statutory & Regulatory Reporting and Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to financial reporting and disclosure.
- Take the lead in managing OJK and other regulatory body audits, represent the organisation on all finance matters.
- Represent the company in directorship capacity as necessary.
- Risk Management and Internal Controls
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Monitor and assess financial risks, operational risk, and liquidity risk, and develop strategies to manage and mitigate these risks effectively.
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives, including new product development, strategic partnerships, to drive business expansion and diversification.
- Work with business team to develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies that align with the company's objectives and drive sustainable growth.
- Oversee financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Funding, Capital Management and Treasury Operations:
- Manage the company's capital structure and liquidity position to optimize financial performance and support business growth initiatives.
- Oversee treasury operations including cash management to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational requirements.
- Oversight of the Funding team's activities, including funding operations and relationship management with funding partners and stakeholders.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, train, and develop finance professionals, ensuring the team has the skills and expertise necessary to support the company's objectives; put in place training and development program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience (>15 years) in a senior finance role, preferably as CFO or Finance Director, within the financial services industry, with a focus on Mult finance or banking.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with a strong understanding of Indonesian financial markets and regulatory environment.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations, driving informed decision-making and business performance.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a track record of delivering accurate and reliable financial reports and analysis.
- Proven track record of managing complex financial projects and initiatives, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, analysis tools, and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
