Executive recruitment Monroe Consulting Group is currently representing a Global Fintech in their search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).


Job Description

  • Financial Statutory & Regulatory Reporting and Compliance:
    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to financial reporting and disclosure.
    • Take the lead in managing OJK and other regulatory body audits, represent the organisation on all finance matters.
    • Represent the company in directorship capacity as necessary.
  • Risk Management and Internal Controls
    • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
    • Monitor and assess financial risks, operational risk, and liquidity risk, and develop strategies to manage and mitigate these risks effectively.
  • Financial Strategy and Planning:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives, including new product development, strategic partnerships, to drive business expansion and diversification.
    • Work with business team to develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies that align with the company's objectives and drive sustainable growth.
    • Oversee financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Funding, Capital Management and Treasury Operations:
    • Manage the company's capital structure and liquidity position to optimize financial performance and support business growth initiatives.
    • Oversee treasury operations including cash management to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational requirements.
    • Oversight of the Funding team's activities, including funding operations and relationship management with funding partners and stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Recruit, train, and develop finance professionals, ensuring the team has the skills and expertise necessary to support the company's objectives; put in place training and development program

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience (>15 years) in a senior finance role, preferably as CFO or Finance Director, within the financial services industry, with a focus on Mult finance or banking.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with a strong understanding of Indonesian financial markets and regulatory environment.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations, driving informed decision-making and business performance.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a track record of delivering accurate and reliable financial reports and analysis.
  • Proven track record of managing complex financial projects and initiatives, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, analysis tools, and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
