Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, a leading executive recruitment firm, is representing a South Korean company specializing in the manufacturing and supply of welding consumables, equipment, and solutions. Their product portfolio includes electrodes, flux-cored wires, solid wires, and submerged arc welding consumables, catering to industries such as shipbuilding, construction, automotive, offshore, and heavy equipment manufacturing.

They are currently looking for a Country Sales Manager to establish and expand their presence in the Philippines. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in sales and business development within the welding, industrial equipment, or manufacturing sectors. This is a remote role, as the company has not yet established a local entity in the country.

Job Summary:

The Country Sales Manager will be responsible for establishing and growing the company's business in the Philippines. This role will involve developing sales strategies, building relationships with key customers, and driving revenue growth in the market. As the company has no local entity yet, this will be a remote position requiring strong leadership, business development skills, and market expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Establish and expand Hyundai Welding's presence in the Philippines by identifying business opportunities and building a strong customer base.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners.
  • Business Expansion: Identify and develop partnerships with distributors, dealers, and potential business collaborators.
  • Technical Support & Consultation: Provide technical guidance on welding products and solutions to customers.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations with clients, finalize contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Performance Monitoring: Regularly report sales performance, market trends, and business updates to senior management.

Key job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have 5 to 10 years of experience in the related field.
  • With experience working in a pioneering or start-up company.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development within the welding, industrial equipment, or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of welding consumables and equipment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setup.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed.
