Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of an automotive manufacturing. Our reputable client is looking for a DevOps Engineer III to join their growing team. This is for a full time opportunity based in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.


Job Summary:


As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with our teams to build and run the core components that power our motorcycles and powertrains. You will enable all teams to take collective ownership of their software's reliability, scalability, and performance. You will also guide other teams in fine-tuning their services, resulting in improved robustness and efficiency, ensuring that every team can focus on building superior software, backed by a reliable, scalable, and efficient infrastructure. We believe every engineering team should be responsible for the software they build, and DevOps plays a critical part in providing the tools, practices, and expertise to make that happen.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Building, maintaining, optimizing, and scaling in the company's infrastructure
  • Improving infrastructure operations and processes with automation and tooling
  • Optimizing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
  • Participating in or leading design reviews and production reviews for new infrastructure services
  • Debugging production issues across services and levels of the stack
  • Ensuring the scalability and security of company's infrastructure
  • Partnering with application developers to ensure best practices and efficient use of infrastructure
  • Building and fostering collaborative relationships with other engineering teams and leaders
  • Plan for the growth of company's infrastructure

Key Job Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or related experience
  • 4-6 years managing resources within cloud computing platforms such AWS
  • 4-6 year's experience automating the software development lifecycle with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins (a must) and Spinnaker
  • Implemented and instrumented observability practices, tooling, and solutions, including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, and NewRelic.
  • Creation of technical documentation in the form of runbooks, notes, and engineering resources.
  • Experience owning infrastructure in production, as well as designing and creating build/deploy & monitoring systems
  • Experience with restful services, service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, cloud system (AWS) and micro-services
  • Mobility devices and EV systems or battery-operated device experience preferred
