Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in agri- farm industry. Our respected client is seeking of well experience in agri boiler farm environment for the position of Farm Operations Director. The job is based in Maragondon, Cavite.

Job Summary:

A This Farm Operations Manager will evaluate, plan, organize, and manage all farming and harvesting operations. The Farm Operations Manager will provide leadership and coordination of general farming administration, accounting, budgeting, and planning of our continued development and eventual farming and harvesting.

To ensure the broiler poultry enterprise is running as efficiently as possible while adhering to all organizational procedures efficiently. He will be managing farm staff when required and will work to the highest standards to provide the best levels of poultry welfare to the livestock under his care.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • In-charge of strategic and operational planning, contribute to overall farm budgeting and strongly promotes profitability and growth of the Company.
  • See to it that the company objectives, plans and targets are met.
  • Recruit, train, develop and manage farming personnel; develop new and existing employees through coaching and leadership.
  • Ensure members of farm team have the necessary competencies and experience to be a winning team.
  • Direct all activities necessary to operate and support the farm at maximum effectiveness and efficiency of employees within established budgets.
  • Work with coworkers on the farm as well as co-players in other departments including Accounting, Human Resource, Supply Chain Management, ICT, other departments and outside service providers to optimize farming operations.
  • Attend seminars, annual industry workshops and conferences whenever necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, and applicable laws.
  • Guarantee employment practices and policies, including food safety and employee safety protocols are enforced and being followed constantly.
  • Manage the farm to ensure that bird welfare is never compromised.
  • Manage and control Contractors on site ensuring work is carried out to the required specification and quality
  • Make sure that all crucial paperwork and reports are accurately done and submitted on time to the relevant Department.
  • Communicate with Farm Managers ensuring relevant information is provided promptly and accurately.
  • Guarantee site security is always preserved, and all issues, if any, are immediately corrected.
  • Ensure Company Environmental, Health & Safety Policy, Quality Control, Animal Welfare and Biosecurity and good housekeeping is always adhered to.
  • Performs other related tasks that may be assigned to him from time to time.

Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree holder or its equivalent
  • Minimum of 15+ years' experience required, with at least 5 years as Operations Manager
  • Comprehensive management background of at least 10 years in the same industry.
  • Sufficient knowledge of agricultural production and animal husbandry.
  • Possess a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Good interpersonal and team-building skills with a positive attitude and ability to establish positive working relationships.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills to small and large groups with a passionate ability to lead and influence.
  • Ability to work extended hours; work nights, weekends or as business needs arise during harvesting season.
  • Professional, dependable, principled, and honest.
  • Strong computer skills.
