Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading Indonesian Mining projects. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15-20 years' experience in Mining for the job of GM Engineering & Technical Services. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Report directly to President Director.
- Manage and present Report in Technical Area to CEO
- Manage and monitoring Department Technical Annual Budget
- Lead, coordinate and manage Mine planning process within the company, holding Technical dept and mining contractors.
- Responsible for strategically mining stages in order to achieve the most effective cost and according to the scope of work.
- Responsible for day today technical and operation in terms of managing the mine activities in order to achieve the target as defined by the company from time to time.
- Continually strive to look for continuous improvement opportunities across Safety, Service Quality and Process Employee Development
- Leadership by managing a cross-functional team to meet business objectives
- Business development involvement in mining future plan of the group.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in mining, geology or Civil Engineering from reputable University
- Experience minimum 18 years in coal mining industry (preferably open pit mining), at least the last 5 years in mid or top management level.
- Strong knowledge in coal open pit mine Technical and mine planning process including exploration, mine design, mine costing & cost control, reclamation, mine closure, project valuation, mining contractor management.
- Strong knowledge in pit to port operation activity, Operational Cost and Budgeting Control.
- Demonstrates an ability to successfully manage projects, schedules, budgets, and encompasses excellent skills in organizational, planning & problem solving.
- Excellent analytical, evaluate, supervisory and team development.
- Member of Coal CPI (Competent Person Indonesia) will be an advantage.
- Able and fluent to communicate in both Bahasa and English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Clear understanding of ethics and compliance issues
