Through our smart hardware & services, we're partnering with network operators to maximise the potential of 5G. Our respected client is seeking a HR Manager to be based in Makati. This role will be directly reporting with the HR Manager/CFO.
Job Overview:
The HR Officer will oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth administration of employee records, recruitment processes, benefits management, and compliance with local labour laws. This role focuses on supporting employees and management with operational HR needs, facilitating a positive work environment and promoting adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
· Employee Records Management:
o Maintain and update employee files, ensuring all personal, contractual, and statutory information is current.
o Ensure compliance of employee records with local labour laws and company policies.
o Assist in onboarding, including preparing employment contracts, collecting necessary documents, and coordinating new employee inductions.
· Recruitment and Onboarding Support:
o Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and coordinating interview schedules.
o Handle documentation for new hires and assist in orientation to ensure a smooth start.
· Benefits Administration:
o Administer employee benefits such as health insurance and government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
o Ensure timely enrolment and removal of employees from benefits programs.
o Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and policy provisions.
· Employee Relations and HR Support:
o Handle employee queries on HR policies and procedures, addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment.
o Support performance management processes by coordinating appraisal schedules and maintaining records.
· Labor Law Compliance:
o Ensure HR processes adhere to Philippine labour laws and regulations.
o Keep updated with labour law changes, maintaining policies that align with legal standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in the Philippines. Plus experience setting up a business from the scratch.
· Familiarity with Philippine labour laws and HR compliance requirements.
· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
