Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, an executive search firm, is recruiting on behalf of a leading global producer of industrial minerals, primarily derived from calcium carbonate, dolomite, and perlite, and a worldwide distributor of specialty chemicals. Our client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with at least 5 years of experience in heavy manufacturing industries, particularly in cement, mining, coal preparation, and aggregate industries. The position is based in Dasmariñas, Cavite, with a compressed workweek of 4 days.
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for managing the maintenance operations of the company's facilities and equipment. This role involves ensuring that all machinery and systems operate efficiently and reliably, reducing downtime, and maximizing productivity. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of maintenance technicians, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience with heavy machinery, including mills, crushers, and roto packaging machinery.
- Proven leadership skills in managing personnel.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance management, predictive inspection tools, and CMMS (Computer-Based Maintenance System) such as SAP.
- Experience in developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance processes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of general mechanical engineering and automated operation systems.
- Familiarity with safety laws and regulations.
Key Job Requirements:
- Must hold a degree in BS Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in heavy manufacturing industries, preferably in cement, mining, or coal preparation.
- Extensive experience in managing both personnel and machinery.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple priorities.
- Willingness to work in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
