Our respected client is seeking a well-experienced professional in Electrical and Instrumentation Specification, with comprehensive knowledge of wastewater treatment, for the position of Project Engineer - Electrical. The job is based in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Job Summary:
The Project Engineer - Electrical will support the Project Manager in all electrical aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Project Manager.
- Prepares plans and documents, including:
- Project Schedule
- Electrical and Instrumentation Specifications
- Bill of Materials/Quantities
- Sub-contract Scope of Work/Supply
- Progress Reports and Billing
- Supervises, instructs, and reviews the work of Project Engineers (Electrical) and CAD Operators in the preparation of:
- Building and installation permit application plans/drawings/documents
- Electrical installation plans/drawings, such as:
- Cable and Conduit Schedules, Cable Routes, Isometric Drawings, Secondary Support, etc.
- Control Panel Reference Drawings
- Control Panel Detail Drawings (optional but an advantage)
- PLC logic diagrams and Melsec PLC/HMI programming (optional but an advantage)
- Final Documentation
- Monitors the progress of site installations.
- Provides technical assistance to the site manager/supervisor in interpreting plans/drawings.
- Liaises with customers, general contractors, government agencies, industrial park management, and other relevant parties.
- Assists in site management and project supervision, if necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline.
- PRC engineering license is required.
- 3-5 years of experience in the design of industrial facilities and/or installation of electro-mechanical equipment.
- Experience in water or wastewater treatment design, installation, or operation is essential.
- Working knowledge in the application of various electro-mechanical equipment and instruments.
- Experience in project or sub-contractor supervision/management.
- Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment plant processes.
- Proficient in general engineering principles.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, often with competing deadlines.
- Good scholastic record.
- Willingness to work in Laguna Technopark, Inc., and project sites.
