Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of the fastest-growing cafe franchise in the Philippines. Our respected client is seeking an Assistant Purchasing Manager. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Makati City, with a Monday to Friday schedule.
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Purchasing Manager to join our team and help drive our procurement and supply chain strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the company's brand and franchising business.
- Implement procurement tools to enhance efficiency.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers, assess their suitability, and manage relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop procurement plans.
- Analyze inventory and demand to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
- Continuously improve procurement practices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement performance and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain metrics to track and improve procurement and warehouse performance.
- Implement sustainable sourcing practices and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Oversee warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient order fulfillment and accurate inventory control.
- Resolve issues related to warehouse operations that impact supply chain efficiency.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement.
- Experience in importing/sourcing from international suppliers is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and contracts simultaneously, coordinating diverse portfolios to ensure seamless efficiency and effectiveness.
