Our reputable client is looking for a Technical Lead/Architect to join their growing team. This is for a full time, dayshift schedule and hybrid working setup opportunity based in Lahug, Cebu City.
Job Summary
As a Technical Lead/Architect, you'll be involved in the entire process of bringing this product's value to the world - quickly and with high quality. During your first 6 months with us, you'll join our development team as a Senior Engineer to understand our development environment. You'll then be entrusted with the Technical Lead/Architect role, leading in the organization's technical side.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and operate new features of the product
- Lead technical aspects of the most important projects
- Provide technical leadership and support to teams and train team members
- Ensure code quality and productivity for the entire team
- Make key technical decisions for the organization and the product as a whole over the medium-to-long term
- Select languages, frameworks, architectures, related services, etc.
Key Job Qualification
- 7+ years of web application development experience (C#, Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, Node.js, Scala, etc.)
- Experience using public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) for developing applications
- Knowledge of HTTP and other network protocols
- Experience with database design and performance tuning
- Experience with agile development (e.g., Scrum)
- Knowledge of microservice architecture
- Experience leading the development of a small team of engineers
Preferred Qualifications
- Kotlin, Go, React, TypeScript development
- GCP development
- Developing and operating large-scale, high-traffic web services
- SRE and DevOps
- New product development
- Knowledge of accounting and its operations
