Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare service, we are seeking a professional with at least 7 years' of experience in Strategy and Operational Planning particularly in the Healthcare Services. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that ensure the hospital's successful launch and sustainable growth, and will also ensure the business performance delivery of the hospital over time. The job is based in Bali, Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans to support the successful launch and ongoing operations of the hospital, in relation to the local (Bali), domestic (Indonesia), and international healthcare landscape.
  • Analyze the anticipated patient flow, from admission to discharge, and design efficient workflows to minimize bottlenecks and improve patient experience. This includes optimizing staffing levels and resource allocation.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the hospital's operational efficiency, patient outcomes, and staff performance. Establish a quality assurance process to continually monitor and improve these metrics.
  • Assist in preparing the hospital for accreditation by relevant healthcare organizations (e.g., Joint Commission). This includes documentation, process audits, and gap analysis to identify areas that need improvement.
  • Develop and implement a change management strategy to prepare hospital staff for the adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies. This includes training programs, communication plans, and support mechanisms.
  • Evaluate different business models for the hospital, including revenue streams, pricing strategies, and partnership opportunities. Provide recommendations on the most viable model based on financial projections and market analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, medical staff, community leaders, and regulatory bodies, to align strategic objectives and ensure smooth execution.
  • Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee major strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives and hospital operations. Implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify and promote innovative practices and technologies to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and overall hospital performance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related role within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of successful strategic planning and execution in healthcare setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in greenfield projects preferred, or demonstrated self-starter initiative.
  • Project management qualifications preferred (e.g. PMP).
