Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Professional and Tech Division is partnered with a fast-growing multinational financial services company. As their business is expanding, we are looking for a Transaction Management Manager.

In this position, you will be handling multiple portfolios relating to payment, custody, reconciliations. Leadership experience is essential in this role. This role supports the UK markets, and requires a suitable candidate that is flexible with the working hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of highly enthusiastic and young talents in verifying our clients' compliance to various regulations applicable to investment funds services by the company through reconciliation of clients' financial instruments governed under each regulation.
  • To ensure all team members comply to internal procedures and controls at all times, as well as policies in place.
  • In the long run, the manager sees success in developing talents within the team and expand his/her responsibility within the department.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • 5-10 years of related experience in operations processes such as Payment, Custody, or Recon, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in managing and coaching teams, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and technicalities, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Fund/Trust Industry and Financial Markets in general, with prior exposure to Operational Risk and corresponding risk monitoring tools.
