Job Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records. This includes tracking all income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Key job responsibilities include:
* Financial Record Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records. This includes tracking all income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. These reports are essential for internal review and for meeting regulatory requirements.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the creation and management of budgets. They provide forecasts to help organizations plan their financial strategy.
* Tax Preparation and Compliance: Ensure that an organization complies with all tax regulations. This includes preparing and filing tax returns, as well as managing tax payments and planning to optimize tax obligations.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or any Accounting course
* Proficiency in financial statements preparation and analysis.
* Experience in using accounting software.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
* Knowledge of journal entries and other accounting principles.
* Detail-oriented and able to work with accuracy
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
