Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of medical devices and life science equipment across Asia. Our distinguished client is looking for an experienced Product Specialist to drive product development and marketing of their clinical diagnostics division in the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings with healthcare professionals in hospital settings, including doctors, nurses, pathologists, and scientific officers.
  • Disseminating marketing materials, delivering product demonstrations, and presenting product features to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pathologists, and scientific officers.
  • Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, including negotiating contracts with potential clients.
  • Arranging Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions and delivering presentations during these sessions.
  • Fulfilling training requests from the core laboratory team.
  • Participating in and organizing exhibitions, conferences, and meetings relevant to the clinical diagnostics industry.
  • Conducting thorough market research to gain insights into industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies.
  • Crafting persuasive messaging and positioning strategies for our products, informed by market insights and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Sciences, Biotechnology or any related fields.
  • Dedication to ongoing learning through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Strong presentation skills and proficiency in computer usage.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Resourceful and capable of working independently.
  • Own a car and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Malaysia.
