Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting a Transport Operations Manager on behalf of a Food FMCG company. The role will oversee transport operations, ensuring efficient delivery dispatching and management of drivers and helpers. The role will play a crucial role in optimizing logistics processes, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. Working setup is onsite at Navotas, Manila.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage daily transport operations to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Monitor dispatch deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient routing of vehicles.
- Supervise and manage a team of drivers and helpers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor and maintain transportation vehicles are in optimal condition and comply with safety regulations.
- Deploy efficient strategies to optimize Transport Operations costs.
- Collaborate with warehouse and transport planning teams to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
- Resolve any transportation-related issues or customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with local and national transportation law regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare and analyze transportation reports, including KPIs and metrics, to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance transport operations and workflow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Supply-chain related courses
- Minimum of five (5) years working experience in Logistics Management - dispatch and delivery operations; Must have at least 5 years of leadership experience
- Knowledge in using ERP Software such as NetSuite, Oracle and SAP is an advantage
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer-service skills
