Monroe Consulting Group announced a few months ago that it had been short listed for 2 for two categories in the Global Recruiter Magazines APAC regional awards. On Thursday night, at an exciting Award ceremony that was held at Marina Bay Sands, Commended and Highly Commended category entrants gathered to celebrate the success of the recruitment industry in the region and to hear who had ultimately attracted the judges’ attention in deciding who was the best of the best.
The awards night was attended by over 250 professionals from around the region, with strong completion from across the Asia pacific Region. It was an especially proud moment for the Monroe team as we were the only recruitment company to be announced as overall winners in two awards categories:
Best Overseas Operation: This award was open to Recruitment Companies of any size who have offices in multiple countries. The judging was based on how companies understood the overseas markets. The judges wanted to see evidence of Social Responsibility, evidence of the brand standing up overseas and that the company is making the right choices with its staff and support them within their roles.
Best Small Recruitment Business: This award was open to Recruitment Businesses with turnover below USD$32m per annum. The judging criteria was focused on customer service, candidate experience and community. They were looking for evidence that the business had moved with the times, by showing resilience and innovation and that it embraced technology and social media techniques to attract candidates. Finally and most importantly the judges needed to see a thorough understanding of the needs of the candidate and the client and a willingness to go above and beyond just the basic requirements.
Monroe Consulting Group have worked very hard over the years to develop and improve our service. We are proud our track record of developing local recruitment talent and giving back to the countries we operate in through various corporate social responsibility programs we run. To be recognized for this hard work by our professional peers is very pleasing and something we are all very honored by.
