Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting an Applications Specialist on behalf of a multinational manufacturer of optical systems and optoelectronics. The role will be responsible providing technical expertise, training, and support to healthcare professionals, customers, and internal stakeholders. The role will directly report to the Applications Manager and will cover key areas in NCR and Luzon territory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive technical support and training to healthcare professionals, customers, and internal teams on the operation, functionality, and application of medical devices.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for prospective and existing customers.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on medical devices, including understanding their clinical applications, features, and benefits.
- Conduct product installations, configurations, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and customer accounts to drive product adoption and loyalty.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback, product performance data, and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Participate in product development projects, providing valuable insights and feedback from the field to inform the design and development process.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, training sessions, and technical support activities using CRM and other relevant software systems.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to showcase our products and engage with customers and key stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferably on any medical related fields
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a similar role within the medical device industry or healthcare sector; preferably with strong preference in opthalmology and/or sugrical portfolios
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of medical device functionality, operation, and clinical applications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Must be willing to do field-work and must be willing to travel on a regular basis
