Business Analyst & BL Implementation Consultant (IE)

Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a regional IT Management Solutions Provider. Our respected client is seeking a Business Analyst & BL Implementation Consultant (IE). The job is located in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines but currently offers a hybrid work arrangement (3x onsite & 2x WFH).

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst & BL Implementation Consultant (IE) is responsible for helping to deliver the company's projects for a variety of clients and conducting research to support the development and evolution of company's bundles and solutions. The position also supports revenue-generating efforts to improve subject matter expertise and expectation setting by being a resource and participating in pre-sales activity such as technical demo and POC completion. Also responsible for assessing the quality of specifications and technical design documents in order to ensure timely, relevant and meaningful feedback. The position is involved in planning and implementing strategies for quality management and testing.

Job Responsibilities:

Enterprise Design

  • Collaborates with the Optimization Team in conceptualizing and developing new bundles and solutions.
  • Analyzes and assesses existing systems and procedures.
  • Assists in the definition, development and documentation of the solution's business requirements, objectives, deliverables and specifications on a project-by-project basis.
  • Assists in defining solution development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
  • Contributes to and may lead programming projects from requirements definition through implementation and support.
  • Identifies areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications.
  • Writes and implements efficient code; maintains and upgrades existing systems. Research, Analysis and Problem Solving
  • Conducts research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
  • Designs, implements, and manages software programs.
  • Researches, identifies, analyzes, and fulfill requirements of all internal and external users.
  • Liaises and collaborates with the Technology Manager and/ or vendors for efficient implementation of related or integrated products or systems and for resolution of any adaptation issues.
  • Recommends, schedules, and performs software improvements and upgrades.
  • Creates training procedures for users.
  • Documents all codes and libraries used.
  • Design Thinking and Systems Concepts
  • Determines how the parts/ modules work together as a bundle or a new solution.
  • Identifies system boundaries and understands the need to define and manage the interfaces to ensure compatibility between systems.
  • Predicts resultant system behavior to manage the dynamic interplay of flexibility and stability.
  • Defines system boundaries and external interfaces to completely cover scope with all the assumptions.
  • Assesses the interaction between humans and systems, and systems and systems to present an overall solutions architecture.
  • Assists in the completion of needed paper works and/ or documentation (technical/ administrative)
  • Acts as the QA Lead for the project development
  • Creates test cases and test scripts

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course or college degree, preferably BSIT, BS Computer Science, BS Computer Engineering, or any IT-related courses.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of previous experience in a similar or related position (solutions analyst or as QA), preferably in an IT solutions and services delivery company
