Executive Firm Monroe Consulting Group is hiring on behalf of a micro-hotel company with multiple branches nationwide. Our client is looking for a Chief Accountant (Supervisor level), a Certified Public Accountant with a minimum of five years of work experience. This is a full on-site work setup based in Pasay City, Philippines.
Key Job Requirements:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee general ledger activities, including posting of journal entries, reconciliations, and closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and company policies.
- Monitor and manage the organization's financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Review and approve payment vouchers, disbursements, and other financial transactions.
- Support the implementation and improvement of accounting systems, processes, and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to accounting staff to ensure development and consistent performance.
Key Job Requirements:
- Certified Public Accountant
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience
- Has good leadership abilities
- Non-CPAs can apply if the candidate has experience in the hospitality industry
