Chief Engineer

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of premier real estate firm dedicated to providing exceptional leasing services for both commercial and residential properties. Company is based in Parañaque.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises Technical Maintenance (Inhouse and Outsourced). Oversee the day-to-day operations of the building/facility including equipment operation, maintenance, repair, etc. Ensure tenants concerns of maintenance and repairs are properly and timely addressed.
  • Prepare manpower roster to ensure all shifts and posts are properly covered.
  • Ensure all relevant licenses and permits of maintenance and repairs are up to date.
  • Prepare proper and complete Terms of reference for all service contracts of maintenance and repairs. Ensure that all service contracts are up-to-date. Ensure the proper delivery of service/products of maintenance and repairs based on the agreed ToR. Ensure proper insurance coverage of the property.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the maintenance and repair of the property.
  • Supervise the staff and technicians of Engineering Department. Conduct regular performance evaluations of contractors and service providers of maintenance and repairs, and their staff.
  • Maintain a proper file/record of all equipment history.
  • Conduct regular inspection of the entire property ensuring equipment operation. Make recommendations for any necessary facility improvement.
  • Conduct daily briefings with maintenance personnel for scheduled activities.
  • Prepare and strictly implement a 52-week preventive maintenance program to be carried out by both in-house and 3rd party service providers for optimum facilities availability rate and minimal equipment downtime.
  • Shall resolve daily operational issues and escalate unresolved issues to the property manager immediately for intervention.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time


Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
  • At least 4 years of experience leading or supervising a team.
  • Strong technical skills in engineering and practices.
  • The ability to maintain a positive attitude and restore morale to a team.
  • With excellent communication and leadership skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, time management skills, and flexibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to process negative feedback and remain professional.
  • The ability to work onsite and in the office.
