Chief Technology Officer (Healthcare)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a renowned Hospital in Indonesia based in North Jakarta, seeking to onboard a visionary and dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead technological strategy and operations. The CTO will play a critical role in shaping the hospital's digital transformation, ensuring the integration of cutting-edge technology to enhance patient care, streamline operations, and support innovative healthcare solutions.

Job Descriptions:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the hospital's mission and goals, focusing on improving patient care, operational efficiency, and data security.
  • Oversee the hospital's IT infrastructure, including electronic health records (EHR) systems, telemedicine platforms, cybersecurity, and data management. Ensure that all systems are reliable, scalable, and compliant with healthcare regulations.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, introducing new technologies and processes that enhance patient experiences and improve clinical outcomes. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in healthcare to ensure the hospital remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Manage and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of top technology talent.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions meet the hospital's needs. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with technology providers.
  • Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Ensure that all technology systems comply with healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA. Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect patient data and hospital operations.
  • Work closely with clinical, administrative, and operational teams to identify and address technology needs across the hospital. Support the integration of technology in all areas of hospital operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a relevant discipline or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including EHR, telemedicine, and healthcare analytics.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, cloud computing, and data management in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire technology teams, manage large-scale projects, and work collaboratively with other hospital departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement long-term technology strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Ability to speak English in a professional manner
  • Willing to work in North Jakarta area
