Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is exclusively recruiting on behalf of a European multinational leader in Design and Manufacturing of Technologies for the Vegetable Oil and Oleochemical industries. Our client is seeking a commissioning engineer, with 8 years' experience in plant commissioning.
Job summary The ideal candidate will be responsible to participate in walk down inspections, punch listing and testing including trouble shooting of mechanical, electrical & instrument component issues that can arise on the project. Work collaboratively within the Project team and with Client to maintain positive relationships. Job Responsibilities:- Operating & Maintenance Manuals development.
- Commissioning and Start-up development.
- Oversee the installation of equipment, piping, and instruments as per the specified design requirements; PIDs, 3D models, etc.
- Identify and rectify any instances of non-compliance, offering on-site guidance to the customer when necessary.
- Efficiently carry out the commissioning of equipment and processes, aiming for cost-effectiveness and a swift timeframe.
- Administer performance tests and deliver training to operators.
- Address and resolve commissioning issues, closely collaborating with the project engineering team for any lingering on-site challenges.
- Operate in a systematic manner, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Generate punch lists and progress reports for tasks related to installation supervision and commissioning.
- Follow through on commissioning issues until they are fully resolved and closed, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Performance Test.
- Support the achievement of project deliverables by adhering to specifications and enhancing competitiveness through standardization, P&ID reviews, and layout assessments.
- Take part in Factory Acceptance Tests and openings of equipment boxes.
- Conduct site audits and suggest improvements to the client.
- Coordinates activities with other engineers in the commissioning team.
