Corporate Insurance Department Head (Healthcare)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare services, we are seeking a professional with at least 7 years' experience in strategic Corporate Insurance Department Head to lead insurance department within the hospital. This role is pivotal in managing the hospital's insurance portfolio, ensuring comprehensive coverage, and mitigating financial risks. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of insurance and risk management, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to align insurance strategies with organizational goals. The job is based in Bogor, Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall insurance strategy in alignment with the hospital's goals and risk management policies.
  • Lead and manage the insurance department team, including training and performance evaluation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all insurance-related matters, including policy negotiations and claims management.
  • Evaluate and recommend insurance providers, coverage options, and policy terms to optimize the hospital's insurance portfolio.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and ensure appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Collaborate with hospital departments to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and emergency response plans.
  • Manage and oversee the claims process, including filing, tracking, and resolution.
  • Liaise with insurance carriers, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to address complex claims and disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Prepare and present detailed insurance reports, including risk exposure analyses and claims summaries, to hospital management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage the insurance department budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial targets.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification is highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in insurance management, with a proven track record in a leadership role, preferably within a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance policies, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements relevant to healthcare organizations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in negotiating and managing insurance contracts and claims.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
